FPL Touchline ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our Fantasy Premier League assistant application.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
FPL data: When you link your Fantasy Premier League team, we store your FPL Manager ID and retrieve publicly available data from the FPL API, including your team name, squad picks, transfer history, league standings, and points.
AI chat data: Free chat history is not saved. Paid conversations are stored so that you can reopen them. When you use an AI feature, your messages, relevant FPL context, and images you submit are processed to generate the response.
AI operational metadata: We retain operational metadata such as the selected model, token usage, cost, credits, timestamps, latency, and failure category for credit accounting, security, abuse prevention, and service monitoring.
Usage data: We collect basic analytics including page views and feature usage to improve the service.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.
Account and FPL data is retained while your account is active. Free chat history is not saved; paid conversation content is retained so that you can reopen it. AI operational metadata is retained for credit accounting, security, and service monitoring. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us, subject to any records we must retain for legal or security reasons.
